I had a quite awful experience with Whitefields Solicitors. Completely unresponsive and caused all sorts of problems. After multiple emails, left messages and phone calls we were left completely in the dark and with no response at all. The service really was as poor as I’ve ever seen from a solicitors. Maybe I got unlucky as some people have been happy with them, but definitely not in my case. Unfortunately for me, they were representing the buyer of my property which means I am unable to pursue things much beyond this review. I do appreciate that I wouldn’t have been the only case they were dealing with but to completely ignore multiple efforts to make contact in a row (from my solicitor, the buyer and several different estate agents) is quite frankly, completely unacceptable. No acknowledgement whatsoever. They also managed to take the entire money for the sale and again disappear for a while! Not sure what happened there. Needless to say, I would certainly do your due diligence before choosing this company. They’re very prone to going silent for long periods, to the extent I was worried my buyer had been scammed! I have no idea what they charge, but when you account for the time, stress and aggravation, it works out very expensive! I have never left a negative review before, this is how strongly I feel about this!

They were prompt to reply and always kept in clear communication with us throughout the process.
