When remortgaging my home I discovered that the solicitor who supported my original purchase added a fraud restriction to the property title. The lender provided free conveyancing but the company that they engaged to help me were unable to support me with the fraud restriction. I contacted ~10 solicitors, 8 declined to help, one said they’d take over the conveyancing, in order to satisfy their liability threshold (this was costly and because they wanted to do everything from scratch would have meant that we couldn’t complete before my existing deal expired). I then spoke to Lex Sterling who were able to help me and made things incredibly simple (a short letter and 15/20 mins was all it took). Massive thanks to Simran and Ashleigh for the incredible service at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the local area.

Lex Sterling provided excellent service. They were polite and friendly from the start and always kept me updated on my case. While I did have to wait occasionally, I understand it’s common for solicitors to be busy with other clients. Overall, their attention to detail and consistent communication made the wait worthwhile. Highly recommend! Suk been helpful and made it so easy understand. He breakdown everything that’s we need to know.

I can’t thank Lex Sterling enough for all their help and support dealing with my uncle’s estate following his passing. They couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. And while some might say “they did all the work”; if my involvement was ever required they full explained everything that was required of me to ensure that I acted in a fully informed manor. Shan and Ashleigh are an absolute credit to the firm and deserve the highest praise. In the nicest way I hope that I don’t require similar services in the future but if I should Lex Sterling will be my first port of call.

I would highly recommend Lex Sterling Solicitors ! Once we found the property we liked, Ashleigh was very helpful in answering all of our queries and was very responsive. She was also very pro-active in chasing from their end with the vendors solicitors, sales agent etc. Trevor and Ashleigh, were fantastic and always quick to reply to me and offer help where possible, this was especially great for me, as a first time buyer. I found them to be professional, friendly, and most importantly *actively persistent* in getting this deal over the line, within our target exchange and completion date. Lex Sterling are non communicative. I have been chasing them for two weeks for an answer to a simple request. Every day I am told someone will return my call, and every day they disappoint. They lack professionalism and integrity and I would never recommend them to anyone as the stress and difficult position they have left me in is unacceptable.
