Reviews
We were extremely pleased with the conveyancing services provided during the sale of our house. Brook Illing handled the entire process with professionalism, ensuring everything moved smoothly and efficiently. Communication was clear and timely, and the sale was completed quicker than expected. We highly recommend Brook to anyone looking for a stress-free and reliable conveyancing experience.
Brook Illing was my sale solicitor. A very patient solicitor. The buyer messed us on every possible chance and moved goal post as they saw fit. Brook kept this deal alive thanks to his advice I was able to complete six months from acceptance of offer, that six month delay due to Buyer and his solicitor. I came very close to having a falling off with my estate agent in Gravesend. I highly recommend Brook, when he gets the ball rolling he is very sharp. I would use him again, the firm was recommended by my estate agent. Thank you.
I had very good experience with Cook Taylor Woodhouse. My solicitor was Ryan Burton. He was very good, helpful and remain calm throughout my whole convening process. Being a first time buyer, I did not know a lot of things and I was struggling while doing paper work. But Ryan handle the situation with calm and gave us enough time to think while sorting out the problems. And also made it easier to understood while doing our paperwork. I feel more comfortable to work with him. I am very pleased with the services that he had provided. I highly recommend him. And would like to thank you so much for all your help and support.
We was in a chain of properties to move and was constantly told the slowest part of the chain was our Solicitors (CTW) and trying to speak to them or have them follow up. We was dealing with Loren throughout this process who we understand has now left the business, as always with these things it usually depends how lucky you are with who you deal with. While Loren was working from home she was uncontactable and when she took time off she wouldn't tell anyone and we would only find out after waiting over a week and being chased by everyone and calling the office to find out she was on leave with nobody picking up her work in her absence. I would never use CTW again due to our poor experience nor would I recommend them if you are considering using them to help buy/sell properties
We had several issues with this firm whilst buying a new property - from emails with multiple documents attached with no explanation, no answer to emailed questions or voicemails - the person who we were buying from their estate agent had to call me almost on a daily basis as we were ready to exchange but our representative kept holding things up. I called three times and emailed twice to make a complaint and not one of those were answered. I hoped after completing I could forget these issues but I have since realised I am without documents needed - I have been told these should have been sent to me but I cannot locate these (maybe due to the unlabelled attachments dumped into emails?). I have since emailed and called but as the person who dealt with the issue has now left the firm no one else seems interested in resolving these issues. I wish I had checked the reviews before instructing this firm as I can see I am not the only person who has had similar issues. Really disappointed and would not recommend this firm.
